Update from Sam on Harry’s First Shoot

first shoot day springer spaniel

Regular readers of my blog will have been following the progress of Sam and Springer Spaniel, Harry. Sam faces more challenges than most with health concerns yet has always been completely determined to work Harry in the shooting field. Through training with me and using my contacts, Sam had his dream shooting day last weekend on Harry’s first shoot. This is how he got on in his own words:

I started my training journey with Damian two years ago after being told by another trainer my dog would never be a working Spaniel as he wasn’t good enough. I did some research and come across Damian.

Damian helped me train Harry to pick up game and to achieve my goal of having a working Spaniel. Yesterday on the 2nd November 2019 we visited the Thistleton Shoot that Damian organised for us to go on. Over five drives Harry my dog picked up 25 birds. Without the support and guidance from Damian, me and Harry wouldn’t of been able to achieve and get where we are today. I couldn’t thank Damian enough.
