Update: Travelling To Train Your Dog

We have all been observing the Government guidelines around lockdown for over four weeks now. I have spoken to many people who have found it frustrating that they cannot go to the usual training grounds with their dogs. It has been acceptable to come to lessons as we can observe social distancing requirements. However, I know some of you have not felt comfortable about travelling to train your dog.

We have now received further guidance about car journeys. This includes permission to drive to walk your dog, as long as the walk is longer than the drive. Hopefully, this will also reassure clients who were concerned about driving to their one-to-one lesson with me. If you have a new puppy, it’s also important to get the foundational training in. If your puppy is going out now, I would be happy to see them for training.

For those who cannot travel, who live further away or perhaps have very young puppies, my virtual training lessons are a great alternative. Please contact me for more details.
