Time for Group Gundog Training

tessleymoor group gundog training

The end of the shooting season is always a time for reflection on the performance of our gundogs and a chance to identify what needs to be worked on for the autumn. With the arrival of spring, we have longer days for training and the opportunity to have a bit of fun with our dogs, using country fairs and gundog scurries to give them a fresh challenge and keep them in condition.

Whether you are training for a specific event, season or just to keep your dog up to breed standard, the experience of working around other dogs is invaluable. The Tessleymoor group gundog training, held on my extensive training grounds, is designed to recreate working in the field. With groups focused on specific breeds like HPR’s and also mixed gundog groups, there is something to suit every dog and handler. These training opportunities provide the chance to build your dog’s steadiness and correct any unwanted behaviours like running in, with the benefit of the realistic distraction of working alongside other dogs. Group gundog training is always good fun, with a lively atmosphere and plenty to challenge you and your dog.
