Teaching a Labrador to retrieve small game with a pigeon – Gundog Training.

Inca has been out in the 2014 shooting season for the first time.  One area she struggled on was retrieving small game.  Whilst in for Residential Gundog Training I ensured she was able to achieve and deliver a difficult bird such as pigeon.  Pigeon is always a tough bird to retrieve as the soft down will sometimes discourage the dog and teach dropping.
