Residential Gundog Training with a Springer Spaniel
Meet Wurly the lively and loveable Springer Spaniel. I say loveable because it’s a know fact that as humans we over love our dogs, giving then love and affection before instilling basic commands and behaviour. This is the case with Wurly hence why he’s attending a residential gundog training course.
Wurly is a highly intelligent working dog that if worked correctly will listen to a command structure. If not mentally and physically stimulated Wurly takes matters into his own hands and starts free hunting and working for himself. During his stay it’s been great to develope his training and see Wurly enjoying the programme.
Wurly went home today but that not the end of his training, a follow up training programme is in place to ensure all the work I’ve done will be continued with.
It’s great to get feed back and here’s a quick message I received tonight from his owner; “Wurly has settled back home really well. He’s tried it on a few times but we’ve been really strict and I’ve had 2 lovely walks with no pulling. Can’t wait to carry on with his training. Thank you.????????”
