Pre-Shoot Training with Ivy the Cocker

With the shooting season gathering pace, it’s important to get your pre-shoot training in so that your dog is ready for the field. Ivy is a great Cocker Spaniel who I’ve been training for a while. At this latest session, we used some cold game to get her used to handling game with fur and feather.

Ivy worked hard with great quartering and control, retrieving and delivering the game to hand. She’s now ready to go out into the field and will do her owners proud.
