Ollie the Labrador’s 2 year old birthday Tessleymoor Gundog Club Training morning, Preston Lancashire.

Over the last 11 months Ollie and Darren have journeyed through good and bad times with their Gundog Training.

When I first met Ollie his focus was lacking in all areas and he’d think nothing of running off and parading around the field.  Darren wasn’t the calmest man I’d ever met and was easily frustrated with Ollie’s antics.  Over the time of training with Darren and Ollie I’ve been fortunate to see their working relationship flourish and more importantly Darren’s patience grow.  Today is Ollie’s 2nd birthday and I was happy to see him attending the Group Gundog Training of the Tessleymoor Gundog Training Club where he certainly showed us how much he’s learnt and improved.  Darren asked if I felt he’d be out in the 2014 shooting filed to which I can confidently say, yes!  Whilst we still need to refine some areas Ollie will be a great working companion and an asset on any shoot.
