Update on Lottie the Dalmatian
You may remember my blog about Lottie, the Dalmatian puppy who was ruling the household of her elderly owner. I agreed to have Lottie for residential training. She arrived this week and it would appear it’s not a moment too soon. The dog has bitten the owner’s adult son, leaving serious bite marks. I explained to the owner that if that was a child that had been bitten, we would be looking at a completely difference scenario. Also, for herself as an older person, bites can puncture the skin more easily and have been known to cause septicaemia. Basically, Lottie is a disaster waiting to happen.
At only seven months old, she is a very big and strong dog. She pulls constantly on the lead and has no manners. She is booked in for several weeks with me and I’ll keep you up-t0-date with her much needed progress.
