Update on Lola the Hungarian Vizsla

Lola has been training with me over quite some time. She originally had one-to-one lessons, then a residential stay. During lockdown she had virtual lessons and now she’s back for practical sessions in the fields.

This was an amazing lesson. Gill has worked really hard on Lola’s recall and it showed. Despite the presence of my dogs as a distraction, Lola came back to Gill perfectly. We then introduced a dummy, which Gill has struggled to get Lola interested in. She retrieved and delivered it to hand. Gill recently lost another of her Vizsla’s suddenly and it was great to see the big smile on her face after this lesson. It really brightened her day:
