Gundog Training with Winnie the German Shorthaired Pointer

This is one magnificent looking German Shorthaired Pointer. Winnie is 9 month old and shows great promise to work. Her drive and focus is amazing, which I’d love in some of my young dogs. Laura has worked hard on their training and it shows.

Todays lesson involved polishing up some of her delivery to hand, working on the stop whistle, directional retrieves and quartering. I have to say that if she was my dog I’d be really happy with what we achieved and I know Laura is to.

I’m certainly looking forward to our next gundog lesson.
