Gundog Training update with my new puppy Wisp, Springer Spaniel.

Wisp has been with me for 2 weeks and is 10 weeks old tomorrow.  She is a bold and confident puppy who is already showing some great promise.  Wherever possible, over the past two weeks I have exposed Wisp to many different environments and I am fortunate enough to be able to introduce her to livestock, horses and other dogs.

I have spent the past 2 weeks bonding with Wisp whilst introducing her to some basic whistle commands.  Puppy’s are like sponges and learn so much in their earlier days.  For this reason it is important to expose them to as many different scenes and situations as possible.  I will be providing regular updates on Wisp especially once she is inoculated and can be exposed further in the environment and regular training as she progresses towards becoming a great working gundog.
