Gundog Training Curley a Springer Spaniel.

Wurly is a dog that has his owners at the end of their patience.  Recently whilst in Scotland he ran off for miles, chased sheep and pegged one in a loch.  Prior to this he would run and ignore basic commands.

Debbie is a first time dog owner and training a Springer Spaniel was never going to be easy, especially a well bred working spaniel.  It doesn’t help when she visits a dog trainer in Preston that after 3 fluffy lesson says she can’t do anything to help and refers Debbie to a gundog trainer who after weeks of classes and being presented with the recent sheep incident says “just stay in classes you don’t need a 1-2-1 he’ll grow out of it”.  You can imagine how the family felt, so after some research and reading my website and testimonials they called me.

It was an emotional day for Debbie when I met her this week, for the first time she could see how good he could be.  He walked perfect to heel for me after a few corrections and he was focussing on me.  Wurly is a great dog that just need guidance.  I gave Debbie some positive training to work on. Today I received this little tweet  “he’s doing really well, can’t believe the difference already. ????”

I’ll keep you all posted on this little boys journey.
