The importance of starting your foundation dog training at a young age
Today I met two more new recruits, 14 week old Labrador puppies Cooper and Reggie for puppy training. People always ask at what age should we start their training? My reply is, the earlier the better. As long as we make the training fun and interesting then it’s easy for our dogs to learn. Building the foundations of their behaviour and command structure is easier than having to correct bad behaviour.
Cooper pictured here might look cute, sweet and innocent but given the chance he could become a Marley of the dog world. So we’ll start with foundation dog training the Tessleymoor Way, building a bond that will over time lead to more advanced training with these Labs.
