Gundog Training Aoife the Cocker Spaniel

From a wilful, disobedient Spaniel to a gundog in just six weeks. Who’d have thought when Aoife’s owners attended their first lesson in August 2018, they would now have such a responsive and well trained dog?

This young girl has gone from a dog that ran off, ignored her owners and was a little devil child. Now we’ve a dog that will work as a gundog, direct on multiple retrieves, hunt up and retrieve. More important is the bond her owners have with Aoife.

Lessons with Aoife and her owners are always fun with plenty of banter. Their trust in following my dog training methods, the Tessleymoor Way, has resulted in the vast improvements they have seen. A structured, back to basics approach has paid off and allowed us to quickly progress to gundog training.
