Residential Dog Training 9 month Labrador
As a dog behaviourist I train and rehabilitate all breeds of dogs. Most behavioural problems stem from the owners lack of understanding of what’s required to create a happy, well behaved, disciplined dog.
Darcy the nine month Labrador is a classic example of what shouldn’t be done in the early months of their lives. Puppies are like sponges, absorbing all the information given. Darcy has been given mixed signals, inconsistency and a lack of discipline and structure, so she has become a disobedient dog. She understands very few commands, she runs off, pulls on the lead, jumps up and generally is a defiant little girl.
Darcy’s owners decided enough was enough and enrolled her in for a residential training programme. Over the coming weeks I will be posting updates on her progress.
