Coronavirus Update 3 – May 11 2020
Here we are in May and it’s time for Coronavirus Update 3 – wonder how many of these there will be? As the restrictions caused by the Coronavirus begin to lift, I thought it would be helpful to clarify how the Tessleymoor services are operating. I very much appreciate all the support I have had from my clients during this difficult time. While I have been able to continue to offer one-to-one lessons, I know that this option has not been available for everyone. For these people, I have developed a virtual dog training programme, which has already proved very popular.
Following the latest announcement, my services are running as follows:
One-to-One Lessons
I have been running one-to-one lessons but I know for many people, the distance to travel has not been justifiable for a one hour lesson. With the lifting of travel restrictions for exercise and leisure, it should now be possible for everyone to attend lessons who wants to. If you have made a block booking of virtual lessons, you can convert these into practical one-to-one lessons if you wish. Social distancing measures will continue to be observed. Of course the lessons are taking place outside in the fresh air. My car parking facility is large so we can keep a distance between our vehicles. Please do not attend your lesson if you feel unwell and cancel in good time.
Virtual Dog Training
I will continue to offer this service, which has proved very popular, with client’s from as far away as Australia. It is working really well as a way to get started with training a new puppy. I’ve also been able to help with various dog behavioural issues using this service. For more information about virtual dog training, give me a call.
Residential Training
I have had dogs in for residential training throughout the lockdown period. This is an ideal service for those needing more intensive training for their dog. Again, drop off and pick up can be done without close contact.
The current situation has proved how highly adaptable my training services are. I am sure that with a little planning, we can all continue to train our dogs successfully until our lives return to some kind of normality.
