All over for another year – Charity Event 2018

Our annual charity event, held this year on Saturday June 16, was once again a great success. The weather wasn’t kind but those that braved the rain had a good time at our gundog scurry and clay shoot. After months of planning, everything came together on the day, thanks to great team work. We appreciate everyone who contributed to the success of the day in one way or another. Thanks to those who made donations, sponsored events and to all those who attended. It was great to see so many of my clients there with their dogs.

The weather brightened during the day, just in time for the charity auction. The event continued well into the evening with live music accompanied by drinks from the Old School Brewery. On a very busy day, there was no shortage of excellent refreshments and I kept going with hot drinks from Jonah’s Coffee and superb pizzas from Prego. Thanks to the generosity of our visitors, we are pleased to announce we have raised £11,112 for local charities.
