Gundog Puppy Training assessment with Tilly the Cocker Spaniel.

It’s always hard when you loose a dog, it’s even harder when it’s totally unexpected. This recently happened to a client when his dog went for a routine castration only to have a major bleed. He was unable to recover despite the wonderful work of the vets. It was later diagnosed he had haemophilia.

Through the kindness of one of his friends meet Tilly the 4 1/2 month old Cocker Spaniel who has come into my clients life.
Nothing can ever replace his loss but Tilly is certainly putting a smile on my clients face.

Today’s assessment gundog lesson allowed me to ensure the foundation training is correct and the mistakes previously made are not replicated.
I look forward to seeing more of Tilly over the coming months and she’s certainly a dog I’d have in my kennels.
