Gundog training assessment with Barney the Labrador.

Barney is a beautiful looking 9 month old Labrador who has been able to use his puppy looks to manipulate his owners.  Today Barney attended his first 1-2-1 gundog training session and I was able to asses his current skills and capabilities.  Since the initial call regarding Barney and after today’s gundog training session, his owner is fully committed to training him as a working dog.  Barney has not receive any previous training and currently has no focus, discipline and runs off when off the lead, however with commitment from his owner, Barney has some great potential.  I am looking forward to future training sessions with Barney and his owner as they progress towards becoming successful in the working field.
