6 month Springer Spaniel Snipe’s training update

You may have read my blog post on the 1st April when I met Snipe for his initial assessment. Snipe is the brother to my Islay who’s featured on many of my social media platforms. Being male Snipe is a little more mischievous than both his sisters who I also train.

Today’s lesson focused on correcting his delivery as he’d been circle around in big loops, eventually delivering, although he never drop the dummy. We also worked on steadiness to a thrown dummy off lead and started to implement a play stop whistle.

Both Snipe and Tim’s training is coming along nicely and I’m looking forward to our next lesson.
