Saskia and Darcy the Two Naughty Springer Spaniels

These two 14 month old Springer Spaniels are a handful for their owners. After speaking to Springer Rescue about their behaviour it was recommended to seek help from a professional gundog trainer with experience in training Springer Spaniels. After reading through my two websites, Cheryl decided to contact me.

Buying two siblings is never the best idea as they can often form a strong bond negating the need to listen to their owners. This is certainly the situation with both dogs, Saskia being the worse as she will run off totally. Both dogs love to chase birds and free hunt which has meant them being kept on the lead for the last few weeks.

Despite the horrendous wet and windy weather today our lesson was a success, both dogs are now walking to heel on the lead and homework has been given to help build a command structure and more importantly a new bond.
