A Great Mornings Gundog Training

Despite the expected rain fall and Storm Katie today we managed to have a fantastic mornings gundog training with my clients and their dogs.

The grounds we used today were challenging for the spaniels, offering some real shoot scenarios. Game was plentiful resulting in some good contact fluhses. The star flush of the morning came from Rob with Callie the Springer Spaniel on a hen pheasant who demonstrated what she’d be taught whilst on residence with me.

Walking my training ground and experiencing various terrains including water retrieve made for an exciting and rewarding lessons. It also allowed my clients to see how I work their dogs and learn how they need to practice over the coming weeks.
