Gundog Training Grounds and an update on Vinny the Residential Gundog.

I have access to some amazing training grounds which provide me with the opportunity to train not only my own dogs, but also the dogs who are currently in for residential gundog training.  It allows me to train the dogs to high levels in varying terrain and field trial conditions whilst simulating shoot scenarios that have strong game scent.  Today, Vinny the Labrador, who is currently in for residential gundog training was out training on some premium grounds.  Whilst the grounds threw up some tough conditions he still managed to deliver when asked and proved his perfection with his distance control to marked and unseen dummies.

I’ll be sad to see Vinny leave this weekend however my client has assured me that I will be seeing him again prior to the 2013 shooting season.  The client is now also considering booking his 6 month old Labrador into my kennels for gundog training as this young dog also begins a journey to becoming a fully trained working gundog.
