Residential Gundog Training follow up 1-2-1 lesson – Cocker Spaniel.

Today saw a follow up Gundog lesson 1-2-1 with Kestle after a recent stay in residence with myself.  Kestle is an interesting lad, he’s certainly a headstrong dog that used to run and ignore his owners.  Today’s lesson was a huge success.  Hi steadiness to thrown dummies and deliverance was 100%.  HIs hunting is coming on but we still need to work him in more hard going ground to increase his confidence in the field.  The area we worked in had a pond so he enjoyed a small swim and hunt for a dummy.

It so rewarding to see what’s achieved but more importantly it’s great to see a owner and their dog enjoying a great working relationship.
