GUNDOG PHOTOGRAPHY

Over the years Tessleymoor Gundogs has worked in partnership with a number of professional photographers to offer gundog photography events. These natural action shots taken in the field capture the true personality and characteristics of a working dog and have always been immensely popular with clients.

To supplement these events, I have often taken quick snaps during lessons to share on my own social media. Over time, these shots have become part of my day-to-day activity and I have developed a keen interest in photography. I have progressed from taking phone snaps to using a range of SLR cameras including the Nikon D5500, Panasonic Lumix and also a GoPro for video. My clients love these high quality images of their dogs training in the field. I am happy to share these shots and it brings an added dimension to lessons.

The relationship I have with my own dogs makes them perfect photography subjects as they are so keen and focused around me. With the dogs I train, their trust helps me to capture moments of achievement and of the growing bond between dog and owner.
